Only real equipment used, no captures of modelers or Kemper profiles.
To get the intended level for my captures, load them in to your ToneX pedal and set the input trim to 0. For software use, match the gain on your interface-preamp to sound the same. Tonex official DI's are hotter than that, so the sound demos will have more gain than intended.
I capture with the level from my DI guitar matched as closely as possible as when plugged straight into the amp, so the result sounds as close as possible.
Alternatively, just judge by your ears, whatever sounds right never can be wrong.
