Known for its tight, aggressive rhythm tones, fluid lead sounds, and crisp, articulate cleans, the JP-2C is a favorite for progressive, metal, and high-gain players who want both precision and feel. Using IK Multimedia’s ToneX V2 capture process, these tones offer improved realism, punch, and dynamic response compared to the original release. The DI format gives you flexibility to pair the captures with your preferred impulse responses or through a real cabinet. The pack covers a wide range of gain stages, EQ settings, and voicings inspired by John Petrucci's iconic tones and recommended settings from the manual, as well as our personal favorites. For best results, set your ToneX software or ToneX Pedal input trim to 0 dB, then dial to taste.
