This pack includes Tonex amp model presets of our Matchless Independence 35 amplifier.
The Independence 35 is Matchless’s first 3-channel amplifier, capable of covering a huge variety of tones from cleans to lead tones. Channel one is clean to edge of break-up, and it’s the million-dollar matchless tone we all know and love. Channels two and three give almost Plexi-type crunch and lead tone, but with a signature Matchless brilliance and grit.
We’ve profiled the amp through the matching 2x12 cabinet using a Royer 121 and Earthworks SR25 through a stereo Neve 1073 preamp.
